Sculptra is a unique injectable product used to restore and maintain facial volume due to aging and/or significant weight loss. It is made of poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen production to replace lost facial volume and structure.

Sculptra is typically injected in a series of treatments spaced 4-5 weeks apart. Results are seen gradually, restoring a more rejuvenated look while improving skin tone and texture. Sculptra can also be used to strengthen and tighten the neck, chest, buttocks and other areas of the body where aging, stretch marks and cellulite are present.

What should I not do after my appointment?

After your appointment we will give you a post treatment care card. That will have all the do’s and don’ts of treatment. You can also view your booking confirmation for a detailed list of expectations. As always, if you have any questions you are able to call or text at anytime.

Is Sculptra a filler?

No, sculptra is a biostimulator, so you will not see instant results like filler. Sculptra is a powder mixed with water while filler is more similar to gel. When you leave a sculptra appointment you will look fuller, but then the water will reabsorb into the body leaving the powder behind to stimulate collagen.

Where is Sculptra injected?

It is typically injected around the perimeter of the face as well as other areas of the face and body to stimulate collagen production to lessen shadows. Great for global volumization.
